A steam geyser isn't essential for survival anyway, even I could last for 500 cycles without a geyser (Given I have a nearby Ice biome)

At least, I've never seen Slimelung in a liquid, only on solids and in gas. Sure it's not Food Poisoning? If it really is Slimelung, donutman07 is correct, chilling it will cause the Slimelung to die. As will filtering the P-H2O into clean H2O. Both together for greater effectiveness. If it's Food Poisoning, heat it instead. Stick a Tepidizer (or 2 if it's a large tank) in there and let it run. It is possible, though I think that the germs slowly die in the water if its at a certain temperature, but if it happens to be near or in a slime biome it wont completely die out due to it always be replenished by the block nearby.
