Other motives are generally the reason for "it's too good to be true", sometimes trickery. In your case I could see, for example, someone wanting to offload their wolfgang skins quickly by doing this, then just not trading for the two higher priced skins after they've been bought thus tricking the buyer into thinking 'free money' when it's just a net loss sink.
