Pseudo-random loot chance/pity timer?

I opened 100 chests and got 3 elegants, so it's obviously looks like there is neither no pseudo random chance to get good loot from chest nor pity timer.

For example, hearthstone has pity timer on legendary cards, so you getting 1 legendary every 20 packs, i believe overwatch has it too

Would be nice to make similar thing, so less people will get frustrating expirience like mine

i belive chances now are:

Common - 50%

Classy - 25%

Spiffy - 15%

Distinguished - 7.5%

Elegant - 2.5%

3 elegants from 400 items is nothing like 2.5%

I think it is better to leave it to luck, as the gladiator skins are too common already. I opened 7 chests and got 4 elegants in one go.

Getting 4 elegants from 7 chests (28 items) would make you very lucky.

In the beta I had 3 elegant reskins for items that I am going for again now. I opened 32 chests in beta to achieve that, now I have opened double that in this version and only gotten one gladiator skin for a character I don't play. I'm getting so unlucky, and now that I've done all the achievements it's really hard to level up and I'm becoming discouraged that I will ever get another elegant before the event is over.

Normally if this were just DST I wouldn't agree, but because this event is limited time meaning the items are probably limited time there has to be some sort of motivation for people to just level up. I'm so tired of seeing the same profile icons.
