The Ancient Exploerer?

So I see this weird Timeless skin in my Curio Cabinet, but not in my actual steam inventory

also its description is just its debug name, i think xD

Anyone have any ideas? It's not actually 'owned' by me, becuase i don't see it in the steam inventory like the rest of my forge or timeless skins

If you got the ancient skin for the walking cane (forgot its exact name) then you can craft a skinned lazy explorer, this is it.

i'm not sure I understand though. Why is it showing up as owned when I don't have one? XD i don't have the option to craft it, nor unravel it, and I also do not own it

(and the other one is called the Ancient Cane ^^)

or is it included in the other ancient staff, and for some reason it's just listed twice? you'd think if it was all that one item, it'd just be listed under one icon in this screen, not two

huh o.0 so it's just tied to the Ancient Cane, but for some reason gets its own icon and spot in this list?

I would have assumed if they were both from the same skin (the Ancient Cane), then they'd show up as just the Ancient cane xD not as two separate things

if u look in that list its the same for things like the floppy hat think the list of items and steam items are diffront things but not sure

it's because of how crafting with skins work.

the lazy explorer requires a cane to be build. Since the cane got a new skin, everything it builds into also gets the new skin.

Same applies to bowler hat, floppy straw hat, etc.

if you look at the log suit skins released with forge, it says "log suit and scalemail reskins" because you need a log suit to create scalemail.. so the scalemail gets the skin too. :]

For instance, if we buy the log suit skin, will it show 2 skins as well? One for log suit, one for scale mail? XD 

i was confused as to why it showed 2 skins for 1 owned skin, rather than just show the owned skin since they are not actually two separate items

Ah, yes, you're right to an extent: During the beta, the scalemail was listed as separate items just like the lazy explorer is right now. So it's likely just an overlooked glitch/bug, in that case: but now you know you have that skin you could potentially craft!
