Haven't Played in a While

@Executive_Lurker Germs (internal and external), washbasins, water cooler, ruins.  Dupes actually use PO now.  Medbeds are needed to heal disease.  Rejuvenators do not heal disease.  Using doors without a block underneath so they don't open is no longer a thing.  Wild planting is no longer a thing.  You get max 5 geysers per map: 2 water, 2 natgas, 1 chlorine.  Natgas geysers now support nearly 3 gens per geyser.  Yield is no longer a thing.  Mealwood is the new sleat wheat.  Irrigation is pretty expensive.  Different plants use different 'fertilizers'.  Plants do not die after X harvests, they keep going with a 30% chance per cycle to drop a seed.   Growing anything other than mealwood is not really important.   hand sanitizers no longer offgas chlorine.  Morbs no longer spawn from corpses, they do spawn from full outhouses.  Expect fewer wheezeworts in general.

That's my off the cuff list.

I didn't know they changed that. I'm not the most knowledgeable about the system, but I've been using these types of hermetic door systems all over my base, and they seem to work very well, even though that fix has been done.  I am missing something?

@manu_x32  well, they said they fixed it anyway.  I never used it so I can't speak from personal experience but I'm pretty sure I've seen youtubers verify it.  Your setup appears to use the consecutive airlocks to destroy gas that gets in between them?  That's a different mechanic vs the no-threshhold mechanic.

Try observing when a dupe goes through. Before dupes would jump into the dip without opening the middle door at any time. Now, I'm pretty sure they do open the door.

Yeah you're right. The hole under the middle door doesn't make has much difference as I thought, but it still seems to have a bit more effect than just 3 doors in a row, not sure why.

EDIT: I just tried this technique that I saw on another thread, and it seems to work even better especially when one of the sides has over pressured gas. And just realized that electric doors open way faster then regular ones, even with no power. I guess they will fix that eventually.

Yeah doors still work without a block for me as well.

Yeah the inside 2 doors if you look closely usually have the vacuum background, or for me they do and it just destroys any gas that happens to come into it....thankfully XD

thank you very much @brummbar7 I'm glad to see that dupes now consume PO. I've also seen where the temp reset pipe bug has been fixed as well.

One extra thing I'm curious about though is that in all the maps I've generated since the Outbreak Upgrade, the starting biome is completely surrounded by the super-heated hydrogen biomes.

Have not seen any ice biomes. was just wondering if this is the norm.

They're there, and plenty of them.  They were moved away from the start biome so that it was not so easy to jump directly to sleet wheat.  It usually takes less than half a screen of abyssalite tunneling somewhere to find one.  Be warned though that sleet wheat and bristles take obscene amounts of water now, vs what is available from the two steam geysers you'll find (max).  You'll probably just want to leave the wild ones and harvest them there.  If you bother with them at all, since you can get by fine on meal lice.

Edit: and having nothing but hot biomes is not the norm.  Normally there's a fair amount of adjacent slime biome as well.

It's not the norm, no, but they do happen.  I actually found a world gen seed with your main area surrounded by hot biomes only lol.  While you don't have to deal with slimelung germs, it was actually hard to play because you need to dig a bit far to get your hands on some Abyssalite and Gold Amalgam.  So even though it had a steam geyser pretty close by, you still need to dig quite a bit for the material to tap it safely.
