stardust0904 Posted September 6, 2017 Share Posted September 6, 2017 So im playing dont starve toghether, then all of a sudden, i see my friend and im like "hey! whats up!" and hes like "yo, lets base toghether?" and he was a wx-78 so i was confident he would be fine. So about 10 days in, we have a prehistilitator [or however you spell it] and a alchemy, 20 berry bushes, no flingomatics, and 1 lightning rod with a firepit. hes like "well i gtg dude" and im like "aww... can we play later tho?" and all of a sudden, he grabs a torch, and BURNS my base to the ground! then the server SAVES the game and i cant rollback. i cant recover from this because the world was edited to have winter come on day 15. So i had to leave and i couldnt do anything. that is my complaint story, and i ask that either the rollback option can go back a server save and not to daytime where it saves or remove the right click button with a torch to "burn" a building or two. Seriously, it annoys everyone when you have such a good base and then all of a sudden, a willow/player comes up at night and burns your base and then the server saves. so you cant recover. its not easy to get ice flingomatics early even since they can be hammered by other players. Fix your game Klei cause no one would wanna play a game where you loose your base the second your doing all well all cause of a single griefer. Fix this please. Well Fine, you can say you dont want this to change, but think about every willow and what they could do to you if you were on a server that had no admin online 24/7 [jester] and a willow burnt it just when day began. you cant rollback enough to stop it unless you had permission. fimmatek Posted October 3, 2017 Share Posted October 3, 2017 The problem with not being able to burn stuff is that either griefers will find a way to get around it and still burn the base somehow, or Klei would make it so impossible to burn a base, that in a winter without a campfire you would freeze, because you couldn't set anything on fire. And that's surely not what we want. On a side note: what kind of friend is that burns your base down?...
