. He randomly refers to himself as plural,

But he doesn't. Webber is consistent in his references to themself. When he speaks about his thoughts, he speaks in singular. e.g. " "I miss grandpa's fishing trips." "Did I just hear a squeak?"   "It makes me feel funny."

Unless it's a simple emotion/feeling e.g.  "We feel safe behind this wall... it makes us sleepy..."  Something that two different being can express without verbal communication.

When he speaks about something tangable, like performing an action or their on body, he speaks in plural. E.G We can see better than all our eyes!"

Most of the inconsistencies are in shipwrecked (not developed by klei alone)

They share a body, but not a mind. The reason he speaks in plural is because they do communicate with each other and they do create a single body. They are sort of like conjoined twins. The reason he says "Spiders understand us" is because he isn't a spider, or just a spider. He's a boy in a spider. He says that multiple times. They very different from other spiders and they even sound different. Imagine when he existed in human society. He would have likely been treated like a demon even though he is still human. Being human, humans don't understand them, but being a spider, spiders accept them.

Wigfrid however is potentially the most unique out of all them. She does not display any overt signs of being unusual, because behaving like a valkyrie is practically her standard.

Yes she does. Believing or pretending to the extent is highly unusual. Extremely limits her diet for the sake of her character (which makes her subject to nutrition deficiencies.) How ever you spin it, she's living a fantasy. She's way past they line of "acting". This is especially true because she's most likely a singer in a opera. Her voice is a brass horn and she speaks with umlats (German opera). Most characters sound like they are groaning when they are hit, but she sounds like she's singing. Her voice is boisterous like a Valkyrie's. Her extreme method acting is highly unnecessary.

Pretty good post either way. A+

That's the perfect way to put it, honestly. It was always hard for me to fully grasp Webber's character (and his use of the plural), but this makes a lot of sense. I feel like I understand him better now, so thanks for that addition! What a fantastic thread we've got going on here.
