Breakers
Default priority is 5, would be awesome if I could just, for example, select the dig action and hold ctrl or shift and scroll up to increase priority or scroll down to decrease priority, would be better then clicking on the meter. Souldrake
I'm for this, though... I can't tell you how many times I would have just liked to click the nice easy to see buttons in the legend when you bring up the priority tab instead of the smaller buttons that appear underneath lol. Not a big fan of where the buttons are.
Zervo
yes please. make a shortcut for this. we use priority tools almost all of the time, having a shortcut will improve the quality of life (a lot)
Quinton
Or even just allow bindings so I can CTRL-# to adjust priority. Having to click the fiddly little buttons is annoying. I'm also not sure if having the priority always reset back to 5 whenever you select a different item or tool is ideal. In many cases I'd prefer the priority to stay at the level I set until I next adjust it.
Masterpintsman
I would suggest to allow setting priority with the number keys while an action/placement cursor is active (and the priority menu is displayed), and have them opening/closing the different building sections while the priority selector is not visible. So one could press p(riority) - 7(select pri 7) - click/drag(to mark) - right-click(clear cursor) then press 1(base), click ladder, 8(select pri), drag/click(to place), right-click(clear cursor). This would massively reduce mouse travel distance (toward the bottom-right corner) and remove the annoyance of priority selection.

This exactly what I came to the forums to suggest, so glad this has been brought up already.

qb.
Also I'd suggest finding new priority bar unified position. Nice spot is in the middle-bottom part. Now it depends on menu. One time is in the right. Another in the left. But function of it is the same for both. This is some basic UX here. Furthermore, you cannot have both menu actions active at once. So there won't be any colision. edit: Of course shortcut would be awesome. But there are some people, who uses onscreen elements to manage.
