Starlogy
In all seriousness, can someone explain Willow's world perception changing when she goes insane? I know that she starts to get cold, but can she keep warm with winter clothing? And if so, would it be an effective strategy to save winter clothes for summer and go insane the whole time? Yeah, she can keep warm with winter clothing/fire for insanity, and in the summer I think you should be able to go clothesless with the personal chill countering the heat of summer. It's a strategy I have yet to try, but I hear it works. I thought if would make the world cold to her, but not colder. Reason why I'm asking is because I have a friend who just started playing, and he hasn't even seen Summer yet. Sure, we could just go to the caves, but keeping an insane Willow above ground during Summer would be good for maintaining the base. TemporaryMan
Maintaining the base... in spontaneous combustion season. I just hide in the caves. Then there's nothing to maintain. This was before bundling wrap, but I remember hiding in the caves with some amigos and we ended up having quite a good amount of rot in Autumn. The best idea is packing everything you care about and take it with you. Bundling wraps are insanely powerful (you only lose rope as you open them) and increase your inventory slots four times a slot (increase it even further by equipping your weapon or tool in the hands, some backpack on the torso and armour on the head so that you add a few slots). It's no longer a problem to go wild with your cave luggage. I have a different issue for you. You won't be able to take Chester and Glommer with you. You will either have to deal with them dying to, say, hounds if other people stay upstairs (so the overworld will keep fully going) or perhaps create a non-flammable pen for them from stone or moonrock walls to wall them inside and break into the structure as you return.
