HoveringOnions Posted October 13, 2016 Share Posted October 13, 2016 So yesterday, I gave a free copy of DST to a winner on a 3 man spin, and I always wanted the Scorching Satchel the second I saw it. I've told my brother I'd sell my Shadow Suit for it. I wouldn't say he's an *******, but he is very selfless when he wants to be, which is a perk of having a sibling I guess, lol. So, as a nice gesture from him, (in exchange for some in-game things I did for him, aka using my friend quests for his benefit and my own, doing duels for his Watch & Learn quest on Hearthstone etc), he sold some CS:GO skins, and with his money that he still had on his steam account, added this beauty to my inventory. My best friend and I were playing a game together and he got a gift. He opened and low and behold, shadow suit. I was amazed and congratulated him. The funniest part was his response over voice chat. Him: "Ew." Me: "What do you mean 'ew'? Him: "I don't play Wilson. That's you, man." Me: "Well to me it looks cool and I would kill for that suit." Him: -sends me a trade offer- "Take it, dude." Me: "WHAT. BUT. DUDE THAT SUIT IS WORTH 20 BUCKS!" (the time when the suit first dropped) Him: "Damnit Michael, take the stupid suit." Me: "You're the greatest, dude." And that's how it happened. Damn Pretty good, I have a shadow suit myself, only about £3.50 at the moment but I am considering to sell it to roulette 3 new different distinguished items for my collection, I'd cry if I got a shadow suit back in that collection from roulette. I thought Shadow Suit was Wilson only since I got it on him, but Wilson with his t1 beard.. mmmm.. I try to finish every collection I start and usually succeed in that. I was missing one classy item to complete them and a friend (that when he joins on me dies a lot, and I get to revive him every time I don't mind it usually, except when it's day two) had it double and gave them to me ^^ Was one of the nicest things you could do for me at that exact moment. He also gave me a gift once on Steam that was an art collection to go with another game, because he knows I am into art. He's a nice person. I sometimes browse the trading forum and find people that are looking for a specific item, and then I go to the market, buy it (so I have it double myself, i have all the common, classy, spiffy and distinguished items atm) and then I send them a message that they can give me anything they want for it. To balance out my karma ^^ I'm trying to sell my tux on the steam market to get more spiffies in my collection to make it look bigger, I didn't want my collection being 6 of the same spiffy, I feel like having a £6 backpack is such a great impact on my collection, I am so happy, I will try do more giveaways to do more good when my steam guard is finished, I have been trying to play Project Ozone 2 but if that doesn't work then I will just playing for my 3 gifts today, and hope in the future have a distinguished to trade off, maybe that tuxedo if it never sells. Nothing specific, I am just hoping my tux sells and I'll buy some random bits and bobs to expand my collection, since the trade-up didn't go as well as I'd of hoped.
