(BUG) Moose/Goose Egg Disappearing.

I left the Goose/Goose alone for two days becasue i wanted the egg. When i went to she her she had a egg so i started to fight her. Half way tho the battle i notice there was no egg. I just left her there becasue i thought i was seeing thing and when i next came back there was a egg but it disappeared about a second later.

In short i second the egg was on the screen it disappeared.

P.S, I am not the only one, A lot of people are saying the same thing one the wiki.

P.P.S I am on a Shipwrecked compatible world if that helps at all.

I'm having the exact same thing. I was quite fortunate to have this, though. Since decided that we should be roomies.

Was the season spring? if it was it might of despawned because i looked on wikia and it said that sometimes the egg will despawn during spring.\ Did it hatch while you where fighting it? maybe it did and you just didn't see it.
