JimmyJam
After the new beta opened for DST i got back into the game. I find myself playing all on my own a lot... (by choice) But there is still one thing i think is missing from the game. It would be a simply option in the world setting to set the all monsters health to Don't Starves normal levels! AKA two options (Together/Alone) P.s I don't know how hard this would be to code in so if it is something that would take way too much time let me know. I am sure someone has asked for this option in the past. Ootay
I think this would be too easy. You could just set it to alone and invite your friends. And voila, you have a much easier world. I still think they should nerf Dragonfly's HP, since i still cant kill it. Soo, i agree with you? But at the same time i don't? Who knows. ~*OOTAY*~ Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/70007-dst-monster-heath-options/#findComment-810988 Share on other sites

It would be great if they added this to the game. Arlesienne
OP, just get DST Tweak Tool if you want more control over mobs. Or simply edit directly through the LUA. Hope it helps. If this feature isn't added, I hope they'll consider buffing armor durability. JimmyJam
Haha i don't think you guys really understand what I'm talking about. This is just a suggestion and something i think would make the game that little bit better. I know all about the mods and as i have said before mods get broken/out dated. As for it being OP... that's just silly becasue in the world settings you can make it always day, never have any hounds or giants spawn and so on. Its just a little setting i think a lot of people who like to play on their own now and then would like. I can see some people say "why not play DS" and to that i say some people don't own it and like myself i want to play with the new stuff in DST that isn't in DS Thanks for replying guys <3 Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/70007-dst-monster-heath-options/#findComment-811154 Share on other sites
blubuild
This would be a good addition indeed. It could be a world generation setting, and you could choose from a bunch of HP sets (settings) for enemies. Either way, the current gameplay situation is kinda ill-advised, since enemies, especially giants, just always have the same hugely increased amount of health, with total disregard for the number of players actually playing on the server (2, 3, 6, 10 or even 1), or even the max number of players allowed on the server, which may lead to Fake Difficulty/Longevity (Damage-Sponge mobs). Mods work, although they may require constant updating over time (to include new mobs perhaps, if nothing else). But requiring a mod to add the option to get this basic matter right is shameful, in a way.
