Hi guys im having problem i want to spawn Firepit and diviningrod next to player,"THINGS" at random location but not sure about the command

In DST you can't 'get' the things legit. You can spawn them in, along side the Base. But it serves no purpose and is merely cosmetic coding. If you still do want it, use Too Many Items and look in the 'Other' section. They have 90% of all the current spawns in there.

Wait, divining rod can still be spawned? Huh, cool. I thought Klei had removed it from the game completely

Too my knowledge, yes it still can. Might be wrong however.

To clarify, the divining rod can still be spawned. If so, does it just show no signal constantly because there are no "things" in the game?

If you spawn in a thing it does show signals.
