Question about The Giants

I have a question:

If you are alone on your server and decide to make a permanent base on the caves and not go to the overworld for 40+ days, will the giants Deerclops and Bearger spawn normally? Or is it because there are 0 players on the overworld the giants won't spawn.

No. They will not spawn if there are not any players in that world. This is the deerclopsspawner of DST:

            TheWorld.state.cycles > TUNING.NO_BOSS_TIME and

AllowedToAttack will return false whenever there are no players around.

No one usually joins my server, so I guess I won't be making a base on caves, is there maybe a mod that allows them to spawn on overworld no matter what?

Can't you get up once every season and fight them? In Bearger's case you can get up only once, and after it spawned you can safely go back in your caves base as he will not despawn until is killed. He will hibernate in Winter and Spring and be an active state of searching for food in Autumn and Summer.

If I miss the day Deerclops spawns (Usually day 39 night) and arrive on the Overworld day 40 will he still spawn?

Deerclops spawns on day 30 during the night usually. But yes, he should spawn later, unless winter is almost over.

Yeah, you could override the deerclopsspawner and remove the #_activeplayers > 0 check. You would also need to change the way deerclops targets structures, since as it is now, deerclops needs a player to spawn next to. You could change this to make him spawn near clustered structures instead (or wherever, but then you would also need to prevent him from despawning if there are not any structures).
