Beefalo armor.

Now that beefalos can be ridden it would be nice if you could craft some armor for them:

Grass Armor Suit:

16 Cut Grass 6 Twigs

Absorbs 40% Of Physical Damage

Durability: 445

Can be burned for 40 seconds and fully fuels a fire pit

Log Armor Suit:

18 Log 5 Rope

Absorbs 60% Of Physical Damage

Durability: 750

Can be burned for 60 seconds and fully fuels a fire pit

Marble Armor Suit:

Probably useless.

16 Marble 6 rope

Absorbs 80% Physical Damage

-30% Speed

Durability: 1250

Night Armour Suit:

10 Nightmare Fuel 4 Papyrus

Absorbs 80% Physical Damage

-14 Sanity per minute when beefalo is ridden.

Durability: 900

Thulecite Armor Suit:

14 Thulecite 8 Nightmare Fuel

Absorbs 70% Physical Damage

+3.8 Sanity per minute when beefalo is ridden.

Durability: 1650

Scalemail Armor Suit: (Cause why not?)

1 Scales 3 Log Suit 6 Pig skin

Absorbs 50% Physical Damage, sets enemies on fire, immune to fire damage.

+3.8 sanity per minute when beefalo is ridden

Durability 1650

Seashell Suit 24?cb=20151205104708:

15 Seashell 6 seaweed 3 rope

Protects Beefalo and rider from poison

Durability: 900

Absorbs 55% Physical Damage

Limestone Suit 24?cb=20151205104708:

6 Limestone 5 rope

-10% Speed

+2.4 sanity per minute when Beefalo is ridden

Absorbs 50% Physical Damage

Durability: 1100

Obsidian Armor Suit 24?cb=20151205104708:

2 Dragoon Heart 7 Obsidian 3 Log suit

Durability: 1400, Sets enemies on fire, immune to fire damage.

Absorbs 50% Physical Damage

Cactus Armour Suit 24?cb=20151205104708:

3 Log suit 8 Cactus spike

Durability: 750

Absorbs 60% Physical Damage

Deals 35 Damage to attackers.

Scrapped:

Snurtle Shell Armour Suit:

2 Snurtle Shell Armour 4 Slurtle Slime 3 Rope

Durability: 1250

Absorbs 40% Physical Damage

Beefalo and rider can hide inside the shell armour It absorbs 100% damage while hiding inside.

I kinda like the idea of beefalo armor but I'm not sure if it would be balanced. Beefalos can already take a lot of damage and you can mostly avoid damage by kiting. Having beefalo armor might make it possible to just tank everything.

First of all, I love the little SW symbols. Way to go all out on attention to detail.

 

But while I do like this, beefalo are already just face tankers, and armor would just make them tank things even more. But personally though, I still have yet to find a true purpose to actually going through all that trouble of getting a beefalo, so you guys add whatever you want :)

I think that the prices for all the armors should be multiplied by 3 and not by 2 as i have listed (I listed it like that so I can see if you guys think that due to the beefalo's health and the armor would be to OP. So? The armor should be even more expensive.
