Scenario Servers (technical topic)

This is s topic, where I(or we) will recruit loyal to this idea players and discuss the ideas of scenarios. As far as I noticed, I cant edit this message further, actually I can, but cant in server branch, anyways, I'm adding a link to GoogleDocs, with shared folder, where the documents with descriptions and list of prefabs and stuff will be. The main idea for us - to create a basic template for the scenario - full list of prefabs (related to specific of scenario) + the list of in-game structures. And the placement will be just a question of creativity for GameMaster. 

I think for the first time we could try non-dedicated server (if someone else wont offer their server).

So the open question atm is - how to stop server time. And then to make it flow as usual.

Milestones:

1. Develop the best way to represent the list of prefabs, scenario prefabs and any other information for scenario.

2. Invetigate all possible ways to organize Scenario server, as well as how to organize work of GameMaster (create list of commands for max effiency, etc) 

3. Create APLHA Scenario.

4. Test ALPHA scenarion.

5. Organize public test game.

 

I decided to add some guard to each location, so finding it is not enough, you have to deal with creatures. This world currently about scenario, I've described in GoogleDoc (by that link in topic). I'll post the story, prefabs, etc, at forum as soon as I'll finish work on it there.

Will turn normal flow?
