The only thing in my Mods folder is my newly-created character mod folder (courtesy of @Mobbstar) but when I try to run the game it crashes to desktop before I can even click on the Mods button. Before, when this was happening, I was able to get all the way to the Mods window, and have it get to about 90% of the way downloading mods, before it would crash. My log.txt for that said that a different mod I had installed was crashing the game, so I removed all mods and started over with just my own character mod. Now I am having the crashing error I stated previously. @Ipsquiggle

Here is my log.txt if anyone would like to have a look and shoot me some clues as to why it isn't working. https://www.dropbox.com/s/c4ej01l2921dbis/log copy.txt?dl=0

It looks like it's having trouble trying to load the modinfo.lua file for your mod. Double check that for typos, and make sure that the icon xml/tex for your mod are in the right spot. If you don't see anything wrong, post it here and we'll have a look!

Here's what the inside of my modinfo.lua looks (I can't personally see anything wrong in there.)

And here's what my mod folder looks like inside (with the winifred mod folder open)

We had a look at this error here and it's quite a strange message, we can't make sense of it. You mentioned in a PM that you got it working on a friend's computer, this is quite odd to me. If other mods work fine then I'd suspect it's something particular to your mod. Maybe try compiling the various art pieces again and see if it works?

The same thing happened to me earlier today (in DST). I was working on my mod in a windows partition and everything worked wonderfully. I booted into a linux partition and suddenly, using the exact same files, I got the error that cruelings posted. I've already recompiled the tex file, but I haven't tested yet. I'll let you know what happens.

edit: just tried again with the recompiled file and it worked this time. *shrugs*
