The problem is the desert/swamp don't have regular trees - your only way of cooling down, so you're forced to take quite a bit of damage... And swamp is filled with things that have their life dedicated to killing the player... Yup, Grass Geckos/Twiggy Trees may kind of solve this problem, except they don't always spawn. And Twiggy Trees could use some tweaking because from my experience everybody and their uncle hates them. Generally my suggestion for resource variants regarding twiggies and MAYBE geckosĀ to spawn no sooner than the second year. I like twiggies, especially as Woodie, but they are annoying. Geckos are cute - but them spawning in the rockylands only is a problem. I also wish they did not get diseased at all. They are too adorable and interesting. The swamp has many monsters, but they are nowhere as dangerous as in the beginning of playing the game if you care to watch where you are going. Sometimes I get evergreens in the swamp, but they are unreliable in general.
