klei I ask you to send these new things of DST for the DS that can launch the dlc the shipwrecked to please DST ask that they put the DS also for the DS this abandoned I know the DST goes after the DS more history it was to be continued it also because it was that DS had a history of maxuell and ask you not to bandonem DS as well as the DST was only to be a version of the DS onlaine and I see people playing the DST as if it were single because the single this abandoned ask you please launch the same contents pros two, I love all DS, DST more would not leave a side to focus on other, but the two have the same content, I see it together become a continuation and not a true multiplayer i love all your klei more games I'm a little frustrated because the DS is dying, and when I see it I remember when you had a proposal "will do the best singleplayer DS" hope to see it thank you the attention.

Lemme paraphrase this:

"Klei, please send the new features of DST to DS, which has the Shipwrecked DLC. I know DST follows up from the DS franchise history, but DS was 'to be continued' (sorta with the Maxwell statue and all). Please don't abandon DS as modern DST players aren't remarking the singeplayer game as it should've been. Don't focus on one than another. I view DST as a continuation and not a true multiplayer. I'm sort of frustrated that DS is a dying game, and I remember when you had a proposal to have DS as the best singleplayer indie game."

Just to clarify things up for you, bud (sorry if I have butchered your point a bit).

I second this. On starting DST, I was impressed with the new animations for the beefalo and frog, etc. as well as the map interface. For me it's not so much the game mechanics (What would steel wool be for in singleplayer?) Instead, it's the small details and polishing that I can imagine would be a pinch to port into DS. With shipwrecked just released, it seems like this one game is being pulled in two very different directions.

Why not play DST single player?

No pause button, harder enemies (only the most elite of the elite will take on Dragonfly with 1 person) and some that were designed for more than 1 person (Ewecus), stuff like this.

They aren't all flaws (harder enemies might attract some people's love, and I can see why), but in the long run, DS is better for 1 person.

'(only the most elite of the elite will take on Dragonfly with 1 person)'

Although, I did see one speed run it with Wolfgang. Managed to get to it and beat it in a few days of playing (in-game time).

Lemme parafraseando o seguinte:

not not massacred bud can rest assured :)

You can't pause, there's' no Shipwrecked, there's latency issues, monsters have doubled health, and there a few changes I don't like that wouldn't fit well for treating it like single player. Those were deal breakers for me.

And the fact is, I shouldn't need to buy and launch a separate version of the game for this content that wasn't added, and I don't intend on using the multiplayer aspect often. That's why people were against Shipwrecked being a standalone game.
