I have a problem with Bearger in my DST games.

First of - when you are near him and press "f" there is an attack animation (but he gets no damage). Only if you go to him really, really close then you can hit him...

Second - I used pan flute & put stack of 14 gunpowder near him (it was on his right side, but it touched his body). I ignited it and... nothing... 0 damage. Maybe I should put it in "his center"?

Is this normal? I don't remember this from single player RoG :-/

Well, they got upgraded in DST... tougher enemies (except for spiders which pretty much stayed the same?)

Yeah, we were using Health Info mod.

Ok, I can understand that he get upgraded --> they could get him more health, new attacks, etc... But when you dodge his attack, go close to him, press "f" to attack - and after 2-3 hits do 0 damage - then this looks more like a bug to me, than upgrade...

Are you hearing the squelchy hit sound when you attack? Does he flinch? Hit zones feel different in DST, I presume because of the network aspect. I've often swung at bosses or kiters that I know I would have hit in the base game and not got them in DST, even if I saw myself swing.

There is an attack animation --> but not the sound of actual hits... Also sometimes (when I wanna initiate fight) I run to him, hit him like 8 times in a row, and he just stands there still - like those hits aren't there (and it wasn't lagging). I'm starting to think that maybe some mod just bugged him... I just don't have any other idea...

I'm not complaining that the fight is to hard, or the boss should be weaker... so really if you don't have anything worthwhile to post - just don't trash this discussion...

I'm complaining that we hit him many times - and 90% of those attacks just isn't subtracted from his health. Hell, many times it just looks like he don't even aggro - we hit him and he stands there or just walks and eats stuff...

So I made this post to learn if other people have this problem, maeby someone have solution how to fix this?

If you're not hearing the sound and he's not flinching, then as far as the game's concerned you're not hitting him; that sound will play when anything living is struck, even the player in god mode.

It's hard to imagine that a mod is responsible if you can't even guess which one it could be, so all I can guess is he's just bugged out for some reason. Weird stuff just seems to happen sometimes. I was fooling around in a garbage world and spawned in a teenbird, and for some reason walking into him created this inertia-less glide he would do on my screen while sitting completely still, and whenever he decided to move he'd first appear back where he last stopped before gliding again. You could try despawning him and respawning him through the console, but if that doesn't work you may have to create a new world. :/
