RoG to SW hopping

Question: If you prototyped a structure that is SW exclusive, and didn't place it yet, but go to RoG, will you be capable of placing it there?

I do think all tabs(except for books which is unique to wickerbottom, duh, and nautical as it wont do a thing in RoG's water) should be usable after you world hopped. (Im also not counting the tabs that you cant prototype things from for obvious reasons)

If you don't have the ingredients because they're for one gamemode, then you go back. But having to go between and cause hound waves to finish the cloth sail you were making is stupid.

Nautical I think shouldn't be there because RoG water are essentially invisible walls and I think are coded to not work with boats, aren't they?

I'll tell you, one thing I'd love but would be kinda weird. A craftable sinkhole in SW and a DIY Volcano in RoG. which would create another way down/up in each world, connecting RoG and SW through caves and Volcano too. Or something. I started on making U&A have a gates to hell which lead to Volcano in SW and then make Volcano have stairs to heaven connecting to U&A but t'was too much work.

Oh Up and Away. I didn't know it was going to be like a free expansion. Lets hope it IS an hiatus(I am naturally passimistic, sorry).

Do you have any idea about the prototyping thing I asked though?

I think it probably won't be able to be placed, like BroccoliCar32 said. It's worth a try, though.

I doubt it to be honest specialy because some of the SW items would be pretty powerfull in the RoG worlds like the Icemaker what makes Summer a lot easier because you can just stock up on Ice whenever you need it and use it a lot more to just cool yourself down.

Then again i feel like this should be possible because it would give me even more reaons to worldhop a lot to prototype machines and tools in the SW worlds and then use them more effectively in the RoG ones. Stuff like Spearguns and Poisonspears i feel like will be very usefull in RoG because they cover some ground that most other times just can't (Speargun being a cheap and reliable Ranged weapon and Poisonspears help with managing big crowds of enemys or help with hit and run tactics).

On-topic: Yes they might be OP but that's the price you pay. You say Icemaker is OP in Summer but Summer is identical to Dry Season pretty much.

Ehh not really since you also have to deal with the Dragoon Eggs in Dry Season while most of the challenge in Summer comes from not overheating or get your stuff roasted by smoldering so being able to make Ice whenever you want does make Summer a tad too easy because you basicly don't need to prepare as hard for it in terms of collecting a lot of Ice during Winter/Spring to get through Summer because you can just make Ice whenever you feel like it. Also the fact that it makes it a lot easier to make Flingos because again i can just make as much Ice as i want whenever i want meaning i'm only really limited in Gears when it comes to making Flingos.

That being said it's also not that hard to amass a great amount of Ice in SW heck i'm in Hurricaneseason on my current playthrough and i got like 1 and a half stack of ice just from gathering hail more then i ever need.

This. I was really disappointed with the ice maker, it makes summer way too easy.
