TheHomeChicken Posted January 10, 2013 Share Posted January 10, 2013 So, I typically use Beefalo and Tallbirds as my main food source, but I find that by the time I find one of those biomes to make my camp, i'm discouraged and don't want to play anymore. So, I was thinking about trying a mainly berry, carrot, fruit only diet for awhile. How should I go about this? Also, living off of beefalos is a bad idea, because right now they don't respawn, and it'd be terrible world with no hair cows. And okay, I ended up settling in a Savannah anyways, cuz i spawned near one. (I love when you spawn near a Grassland and a Savannah :3 ) Time to get poops! The_Dizzie Posted January 10, 2013 Share Posted January 10, 2013 Once you find some beefalos or pigmen go about and gather all the berry bushes, grass stubble and saplings you can, then bring them home and replant them. Use the beefalo or pig poop to fertilize and over time start putting in farm plots and build up a steady food source. To avoid Krampus keep track of your naughty points when you kill an animal. generally 5+ minutes in a day, points go down 1 naughty point per a minute. Just stay under 20 and you're good. Once you are settled you can explore more for more berry bushes and to find a tallbird nesting area to set up a second camp at.
