Or no sound, but Ocean Man Ocean man could be a giant blue water man who wades in from the sea to take you by the hand. He could bring you to any of the lands that he understands. Maybe he'll even take you to the corner of the globe, though that is a real trip. Maybe he'll show you the wonder of amazement at the oberman. He is PASSIVE, not aggressive, and can not be attacked. He's basically fast travel for any land you have discovered, so he understands it. Ocean Man may be sexy as all hell but he's no mind-reader. I know you love this idea.
