Bridge for DLC?

Sometimes i find it is better to get to another island with a bridge , especially with two very close islands.

Anyone has the same idea?

although what i had in mind was making hundreds of rafts and just jumping from one to the other until getting to an island

Honestly, a bridge would be the most useless structure in the whole game if implemented. You need 2 islands very close to each other which happens mostly once in the world at most.

 

A bridge requires specific conditions to be built which are very rare.

I once had an island so close to my base island that I hopped a raft there when hounds spawned then jumped back to the other side an d picked them off one by one with spearguns. Kind resource-intensive but super fun. If I ran out of spears I went off, nabbed a few more jellyfish and came back later for the survivors.
