Unable to fix crashing caused by mod

After downloading a mod of mine, both my mac and PC DST copies started having issues. I unsubscribed from the mod and fixed one issue. My PC copy is fine now but my Mac copy crashes on start, even after I uninstalled it and all its files and reinstalled it. How can I fix this?

Could you please upload your log.txt file located at ~/Documents/Klei/DoNotStarve/log.txt in your documents folder? That'll help others help you solve your problem!

@mf99k, As ImDaMisterL has said, your log.txt file should reflect what's causing the crash found under (~/Documents/Klei/DoNotStarveTogether/log.txt). Your mod may have some lasting effect on the game's base files that's why it's probably still crashing even if you've unsubscribed. You can try any of the following:

• Manually delete/remove your mod folder from the mods folder of Don't Starve Together Beta.
• Verify the integrity of the game cache for Don't Starve Together.
• Try out the method mentioned in this Klei Support Article. (source)
• Try DST's main troubleshoot guide in this Klei Support Article. (source)

If none of these methods work, you should really post your log.txt file. Cheers.

the log file didn't say anything, but I uninstalled everything again and now it doesn't crash anymore
