TwitcheryGamer Posted December 8, 2015 Share Posted December 8, 2015 Mm.I love Wendy, she is my favourite character. The low sanity drain is helpful enough. Abigail can help kill Jellyfish with ease, even during the day. And sure, she sucks at fighting, but I've never been one to fight a lot of things without the help of at least 1 creature anyway, so that basically negates my personal handicap. She is definitely fun, and I don't understand why some people say she's the worst... Abigail has tanked so many creatures coming for me in the dark at base. However after I died with her, I noticed I had trouble finding gold and wanted to make stuff that required the alchemy engine, so I played again as Wickerbottom so I could have the alchemy engine stuff using only a science machine. It's been nice so far. I didn't even have to find a gold rock. Those parrots with the pirate hats drop dubloons, so I used 3 dubloons to refine a gold nugget, since Wickerbottom already knows the science machine stuff naturally and I got the gold I needed to make a science machine. Made me an armored boat and have been exploring ever since. I'm actually kind of bored now. Don't know what to do next. Since Wickerbottom can't sleep, a sandcastle works wonders on her sanity. Just build one and stand by it all day and you can get her sanity all the up from very low. Wickerbottom definately made things easier and fun for me so I could get into a lot of the new content faster. If you did deeper into Maxwell's story, he also has W name. And sometimes called Waxmell in the game files. He is very ugly im scared of him I'm not sure if you can still benefit from Webber since you already got 240 days on other chars. But he is a different play style so if you want a change of pace, try him out. I've always been Wickerbottom until the poison spiders got me. So I tried Webber and I'm now doing okay so far. The monster meat from snakes is welcome food to him. Also the gold aspect as well. Why not? She's super easy to feed, just kill snakes/spiders, collect seaweed and spam meatballs all day. She gains power at dusk, and is even stronger than that at night-time, so really, you could have a very good spider farm if you put your base by a ton of spiders just by keeping Abigail alive. Im on day 40 something now, i found an island that is magma biome and swamp on left and right.Cleared everything out build base in middle of fire geysers so im almost 90% of the night with a natural light can pick up grass twigs and bamboo, or cut trees. i put down 40 of each around those geysers or fissures what are they called, its awesome =) i surrounded them with sandbags so that nothing catches on fire in hurricane season.And those cute fisherman just stand and fish for me but!!
