[Suggestion] Collectible Plushie

So this is a most purposeless idea, there are people who enjoy collectibles in games, regardless of their use. After seeing the Koalefant plushies in Koalefant Proboscidia I wanted moar cute stuffed critters to collect. After chatting with some friends we hashed up some ideas for possible small uses for each plushie, none of them gamechanging, and some of them purely alternate versions of other items, inspired by the "skin" system seen in Klei's last DST stream over the cave and cosmetics update.

Here's a list of what we came up with on where to get each plushie, and what if any use they might have.

Pigman Plushie-Killdrop/Crafted. Traded to Pigmen recruits them for the full recruit time.

Werepig Plushie-Killdrop. Werepigs could eat dropped plushies to be forced to revert to pigs.

PigKing Plushie-TradeDrop, possible specific traded item (such as a regular pig plushie) Can be traded back for an extra juicy payout.

Deerclops-Killdrop/Crafted. Holding it lowers spawn chance

Moose/Goose-Killdrop/Crafted. Holding it makes Goose/Moose Passive unless provoked, lowers Spawn chance.

Mosling-Killdrop/Crafted. Squeezing it causes a Goose/Moose to spawn and see you as it's baby, only works in spring.

Bearger-Killdrop/Crafted. Holding it makes Bearger passive unless provoked.

Dragonfly-Killdrop/Crafted. Holding it makes Dragonfly passive unless provoked.

Spider Plushie-Rare killdrop. Grows a silk beard, or causes spiders to be passive unless provoked, only works on common Spiders. Cave, Ruin and Warrior spiders still hostile.

Spider Warrior Plushie-Killdrop. Allows player to run at full speed on spider nest creep, still triggers a defense party.

Hound Plushie-Killdrop. Doubles as a heat stone, changing between hound types based on temperature.

Warg Plushie-Extra rare killdrop from hounds, killdrop from Warg. Holding it during animal Trails reduces spawn chance.

Koalefant Plushies-Summer & Winter provided if Koalefant Probiscidia isn't installed. Double as hats, Summer provides minimal insulation, Winter is about as protective as the Beefalo hat but without the passive mating beefalo effect.

Merm Plushie-Killdrop.

Chester Plushie-Killdrop/Gravedigger/Tumbleweed. Doubles as a cool looking regular backpack.

Ghost plushie-Killdrop/Gravedigger.

RockLobster plushie-Dropped by Earthquakes, never breaks. Can be used to go into a defense stance like the Snurtle shell armour, but works like the Bush hat making the player invisible to hostile mobs who weren't already agro'd.

Depth Worm Plushie-Killdrop/Earthquake. Has a tiny glow, only just enough to keep charlie away, potentially works when in inventory.

Sheild Spider Plushie-Killdrop/Nest drop.

Spitter Spider-Killdrop/Nest Drop. Can be equipped as a weapon and shoots weak projectiles at attack targets. Weak enough to be impractical as weapon.

Ruins Spider-Killdrop.

Spider queen-Killdrop/Craftable. When held gives teir 3 nests a chance to not become queens.

Bunnyman Plushie-Killdrop/earthquake/crafted. Can be traded to Bunnymen to recruit for the full recruit time.

Beefalo Plushie-Kill drop/crafted. Wearable as a hat, no sanity boon but works as a beefalo hat, keeping beefalo passive during mating season, no or minor insulation.

Beardlords-Killdrop/Alternate form for the Bunnyman plushie. Can be "shaved" by hand to get one or two beard hairs.

Rabbit plushie-Killdrop/Digging up a rabbit hole. Can be used to "plant" a new rabbit hole.

Beardling Plushie-Killdrop/Digging up a rabbit hole while insane.

Frog Plushie-Killdrop/Fished. Makes frogs passive unless provoked, lowers chance of frog rain.

Tallbird Plushie-Killdrop/Sometimes replaces their egg. Tallbirds give up agro quicker.

Wolly Plushie-FeedWolly/Break his boat.

Moleworm Plushie-Killdrop. Can be fed for no reason.

Catcoon Plushie-Killdrop/Crafted/"puke"drop. Holding it causes unallied catcoons to use their allied drop table when coughing up stuff. Can be used to add a life to a Catcoon home up to a max of 9.

Lavae plushie-DST-Killdrop. Regular game inclusion could have Dragonfly drop it.

Crawling Horror Plushie-Killdrop/Crafted. Has a small insanity aura equivalent of night time sanity loss.

Terror Beak Plushie-Killdrop/Crafted. Insanity Aura.

Mr. Skitts Plushie-Crafted. Insantiy aura.

Robin Plushie-Killdrop/Crafted. Raises the amount of red birds that will land when held.

Crow Plushie-Killdrop/Crafted. Raises the amount of Crows that will land when held.

Snowbird-Killdrop/crafted. Raises the amount of Snowbirds that will land when held.

Buzzard Plushie-Killdrop.

Leif Plushie-Killdrop. Lowers chance of Treeguard spawning when held.

Birchguard Plushie-Killdrop. Lowers chance of Birchguard spawning when held.

Batilisk plushie-Killdrop/Crafted. Can be squeezed for a free guano twice a day.

Ancient Guardian plushie-Killdrop/Crafted.

Clockwork Chess plushies-killdrop from their respective piece.

Splumonkey Plushie-Killdrop/Crafted/broken nest.

Slurper plushie-Killdrop/Crafted. Works like the Icepack.

Butterfly Plushie-killdrop, squeezing it causes flowers to grow in a pattern where the player is standing

Krampus Plushie-killdrop, Can double as a backpack?

Pig Guard Plushie-Killdrop. Causes pig guards to have a smaller agro range, still won't let you near their territory.

Bee Plushie-Killdrop/Crafted. Squeeze 3 times a day for Either honey, or rarely a honeycomb or an actual bee.

Slurtle plushie-Killdrop/Crafted/Broken Nest. Slurtles can eat it and either fall asleep or go back to their nest despite food still being available.

Pengull-killdrop/replaces an egg randomly.

Gobbler Plushie-killdrop, burnable, burnable.

Snurtle plushie-Killdrop/Broken Nest. When a Slurtle consumes it he turns into a Snurtle.

Mandrake Plushie-Killdrop/Crafted. Makes funny noises.

Volt Goat Plushie-Killdrop/Crafted. Works as a low priority lightning rod, with durability when placed.

Glommer Plushie-Killdrop/Crafted. Squeeze once a day for a free glommer goop.

Hambat Plushie-Crafted. Doesn't rot and has no durability, and does no damage but makes a funny sound when it strikes.

There are a small handful of creatures I did not include due to them either not really working as a plushie, being an alternate form of an existing creature, or simply I forgot them. In places where I say multiple acquirement methods, I usually mean one or the other, not both or all of them. But ultimately the methods of acquiring, and uses if any are up to any modder who takes up the idea.

These idea's are not set in stone, if you have any suggestions for plushies I didn't add, or uses for ones I missed or even different uses for ones I haven't missed feel free to post them. Keep posts constructive or don't post at all.

I'm all up for the idea, but it'd require art. Like, a lot of art. Like, a lot of talent. Like, somebody better with the pen than me.

Is there an artist who is willing to draw cuddly cute plushie monsters?

If so, then your idea is almost done already :p

Nice. I figure most of them should be tradeable to the pig king like any trinket, so they all have that small use. But then having actual use is only really something we decided after some people being like "whats the point if they don't do anything"
