Not at all. Asides Wilson being a self-proclaimed mad-scientist/evil genius, Willow being a psychopathic arsonist, Wendy .... has a dead twin sister, and Wofgang being a strongman.That's pretty much it.

for what I thought that..Wilson is a young eccentric gentleman scientist who does not being approve by other gentlemen because his scientific were too insane for them in that time.Willow, she became a short-temper pyromaniac maybe because of her abusive parent and not alot friends(mostly they bullied her)a flame was the only things that calm her down.Wendy, many people thought that she killed her sister. i kinda like that twist. but i have my own thoughts that Wendy had witnessthe tragic murder in her orphanage such as she saw ophelia drowned in the pond, her sister being straggled .Wolfgang the strongman, im into his backstory. He was kidnapped and sold the the cirus when he was a kid. perform the same routine that could made Wolfgang felt bored or emptyness which could lead him desire for the greatest challange.sorry for my bad typing, so this is how i thought
