When beefalos go into heat, they dont attack other players.. I did not have any beefalo hat in the process.Steps to Reproduce: Wait winter for beefalos to go into heat. Stand safely among the herd even without a beefalo hat.. Gingerbread Posted July 13, 2015 Author Share Posted July 13, 2015 Nope this is not about beefalo hat. I was not wearing it. Actually the other guy found this for the first time. He had no type of winter prep and was beside beefalos waiting by a camp fire for the night to shave em when beefalos were too close to him. They were in heat and they did not attack. He was probably someone new to the game despite i warned him he could not shave he successfully shaved too. I tried by myself by putting off my beef hat and i did not get attacked. In other server that happened similar. Beefalos were in heat in spring and you had to pass a narrow passage ,where they were blocking the road, to go to the other side of the map . Even though they were in heat they did not attack to me and i was not having any beefalo hat in spring. In one another server it was 19th day when i joined. I could explore the savannah biome on the first day of winter. As you know first day of winter they are in heat. I tried to get closer to them but again they did not attack me. I was not having any beefalo hat and i was there to shave them. It makes it easier to go around them, and also to exploit them for protection against hounds without them also trying to kill you. It is a bug though, I'm sure. I can straight up be in the middle of the herd and nothing happens when they are in heat now.
