Lundemo
In Single Player, dig up plants and build your giant McMansion to your heart's content. But in multiplayer, when you dig up 200 berry plants and obscene numbers of grass tufts and twigs you are taking those resources off the map for everyone else. Not all of us like to hang around camps all the time, but as resources are centralized, it makes it a little difficult. Seems like some people are just playing the game in order to "wow" others with the awesomeness of their camps. For my taste, big camps are not a positive. Would love to see a mod with a lifetime limit on individuals digging up plants.
RalphKastro
Or you could just stock up before leaving on a voyage, or just killing the leader and raiding the base. I think people like to centralise resources so they don't have to live scavenging, instead always preparing and stocking food for the trips. But of course Rezicib is going to make/is making as I type/has already made/has released a version for each version of Don't starve a mod like this. ryouryou
People don't realize that concentrating everything without the resources to properly protect said resources is a bad idea, especially in the summer, when everything starts burning...It'll take a while to get used to this in RoG after vanilla DS/T basically lets you amass 300,000 bushes with no consequences as long as no one griefs you. People also overestimate the value of said bushes. It's really only worth it for me to move a few as fillers, because in the late game, I tend to forsake them as fillers anyways in exchange for better crock pot meals like Bacon and Eggs and Meaty Stew. Flare2V
Would love to see a mod with a lifetime limit on individuals digging up plants. This would absolutely destroy the sandbox mechanic of the game and feel very unorthodox. The much better alternative is to just have such things respawn in empty areas over time (which already happens). Patience is virtue, friend! imsomony
There's a couple mods out there that allow the world to regenerate / regrow, whether items have been burned OR dug up. Perhaps these can be of some help?Natural Respawn: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=417346599Nature's Still Wild: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=356006343Renewable World: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=369588618 You can also check out Simple Protection, it sets limits on what new players can/cannot do: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=360823660
