Dudedude
My custom character's hurt voice and death voice don't work for some reason. Is this a DST bug or something? No matter what I change it never plays.
DrSmugleaf
How are you implementing it? You could look at the Drok the Caveman mod for an example on how to do it.

Did you look at the custom sound video tutorial?http://forums.kleientertainment.com/topic/43234-dont-starve-modding-guides-in-videos/#entry592483
rezecib
@Dudedude, I think there actually is a bug with RemapSoundEvent right now. I encountered the same problem with the hurt/death sounds of Wigfrid/Webber. Fortunately there's a hurtsoundoverride and a very small stategraph edit you can make to get around those (and other Remaps seem to work fine). Peter said the team encountered a bug with remapping sounds (during their game jam I think?), and it might've been this, so hopefully it'll get fixed soon. Meanwhile you can try what I did in DST RoG Characters.
Developer PeterA Posted February 2, 2015 Developer Share Posted February 2, 2015 I think there actually is a bug with RemapSoundEvent right now Correct, there is! I found this bug on Thursday where unnamed sounds aren't being remapped. I've fixed that, so you'll have that working again next build
