Items behind other items

I just starved to death because I couldn't pick up some meat. I had dropped a bunny near my fire pit and it died right behind the flames. I could see the food but couldn't get to it. I kept examining the fire. . Anyway, no great loss but very annoying. Could there be a way to bring up all items in a location and have the ability to select between them?

This is your first post. Did you consider posting a thread asking if there was another way to get items?

Try holding Spacebar. If the item is obtainable and within reach, you'll walk towards it and pick it up.

Another thing is changing the camera perspective with Q and E so you can see behind things.

Yes, the lovely Chesska said it right. This issue has pretty much already been resolved.

There are 2 ways to fix this.

Press Q or E or the arrow keys to rotate ur camera.

Press spacebar to perform actions like pick up/attack.
