I think there's a common bug right now that causes some or all players to be disconnected from a server, followed by the server not responding. Neither helped, but when I messaged one of the hosts about it and they rehosted, I was able to join. Sorry about this! When Steam cuts out, servers that are currently running can no longer be joined until restarted (but players in can keep playing). I have fixed this in our upcoming content release.
