Issue Title: Flash when removing turf

Issue Description: I get a white flash when I remove turf about 90% of the time.

Steps to Reproduce: Make a pitchfork

Remove Turf

 

Strange...

 

I personally never experienced this.

 

Hope you find some kind of fix or solution to this problem!

I have the same issue. Happens both in single and multiplayer.

Operating system, graphics card, RAM amount, Harddrive space.

 

You can get it the old fashioned way (steps below) or download Speccy, as the other user did,

 

Operating System:

 

  • Windows: Start Menu -> Right Click "Computer" -> Properties
    • Windows Edition: XP, Vista, Win7, Win 8; Pro/Home/etc; Service Pack (SP) version.
    • Manufacturer: Hewlett-Packard (HP), Dell, Asus, etc.
    • Processor: Intel Core i3/i5/i7; AMD, GHz Speed & model # (mine says 860)
    • Installed Memory (RAM): 2/4/6/8/10/12 GBs
  • Graphics Card: while in the properties click "Device Manager":
    • Display Adapter -> Graphics Card NVIDIA/Raedon Model (mine says GeForce GT 610)
    • Right Click Graphics Card -> Properties -> Driver Tab -> Copy/Paste Driver version and date.
  • Hard Drive: Start Menu -> Left Click Computer -> Local Disk (C:) should show you how much free space you have.

Doesn't look like it's isolated to one type of GPU or chipset. I have an intel chipset. Interesting.

I had this issue both with my ATI 6870 and with my integrated Intel HD 3000 (i5 2500k). I wonder if it's framerate-related... (e.g. if you have a low framerate then it might just not render the frame that has the missing turf, thus no flash)

 

But yeah, this has been in the single-player game as long as I've played it.

My refresh rate is at 60Hz; not sure what my FPS is but it appears smooth; I was hosting.

I always had this on single player, from what I can tell, this is probably because the world ground is rendered one single time for performace reasons, when you remove a turf you cause the engine to mark the ground as dirty, and so it's rendered again, which causes op issue.
