magnetica
Hi was just wondering what the console commands are for kicking and banning players. rezecib
TheNet:Kick(id), where id is a number from 1-4 (in 4-player games). You can find the number with the debug info (backspace) in the lower-right. But you can kick from the scoreboard too... Banning is TheNet:Ban(id), but I think it's buggy right now? Which is why it's not on the scoreboard, too. Personally, my preferred method of banning people is the following: AllPlayers[id].Transform:SetPosition(800,0,800) This banishes them to the bottom corner of the world, which is inevitably ocean. Developer SethR Posted October 29, 2014 Developer Share Posted October 29, 2014 This banishes them to the bottom corner of the world, which is inevitably ocean. I would watch out with this: there's a crash that occurs in DS if it is raining while you're out over the ocean. I haven't tested it because that's obviously not normal game behavior, but it's possible that it'd crash the server as well. rezecib
@SethR Thanks! I'll keep that in mind, but usually they leave pretty quickly once they realize they're screwed. _Q_
I would make basalt cage and teleport them there. Could be fun:P Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/43034-what-the-console-commands-for-bankick/#findComment-559154 Share on other sites
rezecib
I would make basalt cage and teleport them there. Could be fun:P I've done that, but the problem there is that ghosts can phase through basalt just fine, and then you have their final griefing form activated. This made me literally LOL when I first saw it (didn't have the chance to comment earlier), and is still making me chuckle several hours later. Well done rezecib!
