Rosten Posted October 27, 2014 Share Posted October 27, 2014 Butter Muffins? i think you got it wrong mate, i'm farming butter not butterfly wings.Wich means Waffles (best renewable hp regen food in the game):+60hp , +37.5 Hunger, + 5 Sanity And Ice Cream (best sanity regen food in the game):+25 hunter and +50 Sanity Butter Muffins are worthless and also if you read the post i said that catcoons eat/burry the wings so...Well, I'm an idiot. I forgot that Waffles used butter (When was the last time anyone made any? with a <2% drop chance for butter) And while Waffles and Ice Cream may be the best healing and sanity regen foods available (they ought to be, with such a rare drop as a requirement) It's hardly worth the time as a viable survival option, when Dragonpies heal 40 Hp and 75 Hunger, and are much easier to farm en masse (All you really need is Manure, Patience, a Bird Cage, and 1 Dragonfruit) So while this is a pretty cool thing, and possibly the *most* optimal healing/sanity source (depending on how fast you actually get butter) It's not a very viable strategy for serious play. I suppose frog ponds are a fancy replacement for non-RoG players. No, you can build up a non-RoG butterfarm although it is much, much less productive. You can use beefalos in heat who will even yield the butterfly wings. It maybe won't be productive enough to maintain a sturdy supply with butter but you (in most cases) don't have to dramatically heal up every day and fortunately butter is spoiling really slow. Of course this whole butter-thing is less attractive without RoG because ice cream is pretty good in summer and electric milk is so stupidly hard to get.
