Oxryklne decides he'd rather not go with Wekesa, so he decides to stay in camp.

[MenaAthena]

"I'll help forage. I still need to get a good look around this place anyway."

"Alright then, so it's me, Athena, and the pl-Wekesa that will go gather supplies, and Oxryklne will stay here."

"The frog is staying here too."

Wilson gave Athena a quizzical look before remembering Athena's cute companion.

"Ah yes, the frog. I still haven't figured out why it isn't aggressive like the others. I suppose I'll have to look into it later."

Wilson opened up one of the chests and put some supplies into his backpack. He quickly crafted an empty one for Athena. "It's up this way. Just follow me."

With Wakana on her back Cypress followed Wy. Once at the reeds she clamped her jaw over one of the clumps and pulled the reeds off. She couldn't exactly put these in her pockets in this form, perhaps the vegetable on her back could collect them from her jaw for her, if not Wy probably could.

Wy collects some reeds, then turns to Cypress and, seeing how she was holding the plants in between her fauces, he asks if she wanted him to take them.

(Btw, Mena, do you have an idea for something that could happen now? Things are gettinf boring...)

"You're seriously leaving me with that?"  Oxryklne says, looking at the frog in disgust.

{Oxryklne. You're either stuck with a Venus flytrap or a frog. Both could eat you. X3}

{Tentacle attack!}

Cypress nodded to the best of her abilities and let Wy take the reeds before clamping down on another clump and then offering the reeds to Wy again.

{You know... I've never seen frosty the snowman... Must be an American thing.}

However, as Cypress and Wy stood near the reads, the ground shook and a loud, threatening rumble came fro underneath them.

Wy took the reeds and was putting them into his backpack, when the ground under the group shaked.

Quickly, Wy looked around him to see if his thoughts were right...and indeed they were!

"Run!"

Before Cypress could heed Wy's words, a tentacle burst out from the ground beside her. It would strike is she didn't act quickly.

Wilson nodded and the group set off.The walk through the meadow was pretty uneventful just like the rest of this rp so far. Wilson and Athena gathered a large amount of twigs, grass, logs, and a few berry bushes. Athena was kind of surprised how easy chopping the trees down was. Eventually, they came to the edge of the swamp. Wilson stopped and turned to the others.

"I must warn you before we continue. The marsh is a very dangerous place; strange ground-dwelling tentacles hide themselves in the muck and can strike if you get close enough. Luckily, I've mapped out a safe route that can lead us to a large clump. So don't wander to far from me, got it?"

Athena nodded.

Cypress saw Wy's feeble attempt to damage the tentacle. She whipped he whole body toward the tentacle and clamped her maw into the creature, it's blood was bitter and sour. This was a nasty tasting animal...
