I realy want to play this.As stated earlier, yes. Linux support is on the way. Some of the dedicated servers run on Linux from what I'm hearing (but I can't confirm this). You may not be able to be pinged if you host, though, but that's only a problem if you're aiming for people to find your public server. It's that he's actually a very complicated character under the hood, with his own component that needs it own networking (beaverness), and a slew of things in beaver mode that would be really annoying/problematic with networking. And have two other friends that I want to play do I just buy another Frontier Pack? or is that a waste? Do I get 4 copies of Don't Starve Together if I buy two Frontier packs?
