How do I harvest honey from my bee box WITHOUT getting attacked by bees?

Lol this thread reminded me of the first time I tried to harvest my Bee Box during the night and ended up getting killed by my own bees.

If you have a Walking Cane, and run as soon as you gather, they disengage almost instantly, makes for really quick gathering.

With the walking cane, you can actually take the honey out of the beesbox and run away before any of the bees can sting you if you've got good reaction time. My beekeeper's hat has been gathering dust in my chest for a long time since I got the walking cane.

Just wear the Beekeeper hat. It provides 80% protection against bees, meaning you'll only take 2 dmg each attack.Wear that + Log Suit and you'll have 80% * 80% protection, resulting in 0.4 damage... Not sure how the game rounds that up.

80% protection means you take 20% of the damage. 80% * 80% protection means you take 20% * 20% damage. 0.2*0.2 is 0.04, or 4%.

Beekeeper hat should just take less silk. Football helmet does the same thing but with a wider application of use and can easily be considered less of a problem to craft, and honestly you're fine with just a log suit in the first place. 8 silk is monstrous considering there are more useful, easier to craft alternatives.
