Correlation between Screetcher and Don't Starve

There might me some correlation between the Radio near the landing spot and the radio made by Voxola?
Because if the Screecher mod is somehow related to the don't starve world this would open new possible ways to examine the story of the game.
For now, we know that there's a monster like Charlie in the Screecher, and that it kills the player when the flashlight is not on, We know too that the monster could be the Screecher itself, and we know that there's more than only one Screecher.
We know that the game is in the 90' So this would be after the DS events.

We know that the game is in Pillet Creek, but i don't know if it's a real place or not.

But not directly looking at the Screecher saves you (then)  while Charlie is defeated with directly being able to  see.

 

 

If by some miracle you could see Charlie, I doubt she could attack you. Looking directly at a Screecher attacks you.

I don't think the Voxola connection wouldn't work, because soon after the fire that destroyed most of the Voxola PR-76 models occurred, the company declared bankruptcy, and Voxola founder Robert Wagstaff went missing that same night (and became a ROBOT... Or not).

 

It could be neat if there were some spiritual connections between the two games, but really I think The Screecher was just supposed to be a neat showcase of the potential of Don't Starve's modding capabilities with a self-contained horror story made to bring in the Halloween season so everyone could get spooped.
