If we're talking post RoG (and since Giants are mentioned in the replies I will take this as yes) use insulation to stop wetness AND lightning strikes (including telelocator and pseudoscience.) the raincoat is 100% insulation at the cost of 2 spots, 2 teeth and 2 shards. Or simply use multiple items if you need a chest slot. Never get hit by it again unless you choose to (such as a poor man's quick sanity dropper for beardling/beardlord resource gathering until using a purple amulet/evil flowers and sanity restoring.) Having extra health/hunger/sanity gives you more time, not invulnerability. Unlike Wolfgang, you don't have to worry about multiple states. The real OP is the all-in-one Health/Hunger/Sanity healing of gears. Think about that when you go to AM world 5 compared to other characters. This healing is true while you upgrade and even after the 16 gear upgrade cycle. in AM, it quickly can make WX OP if they get "The Game is Afoot." The only tradeoff now is it's a permanent summer after 10 days, so no meandering there. As has been noted, people miss the reasons WX is played and look for a quick solution/answer and miss the nuances. But often people focus on one thing (the rain or the food spoilage) and forget the nuances of other things or secondary uses of said abilities good or bad. (See my overload recharge for instance.) The best thing players can do is learn to play for themselves, only being inspired (not copying) how others stream. So don't copy the gameplay stream, and just play it for yourself with whatever character you wish.. That said, the Robot is the least appealing one to me I'm surprised to hear that's who most of the streamers play.That said the game feels really easy once you've learned everything so having to cheese it with OP stats seems silly to me. Whenever I've streamed I think I've gotten a max of like 1-2 viewers for this game. Not sure how other streamers manage to get people to watch it's so slow paced I didn't think people would be interested in watching streams heh. One can farm gears in the adventure world of their choosing (but ironically I would not recommend the most Clockworks populated Adventure World "The Game is Afoot" due to permanent summer after its 10-day winter.)
