So ive been playing Dont Starve on my Ps4 because it was free( I also play on steam but I know more people on Ps4) and I was trying to unlock Wes. I already have Maxwell and I dont know if that is the problem but I ALWAYS get Two-Worlds for world3. Everyone says you get Wes in world3 as long as it is not Two-Worlds but I ALWAYS get it. I have played adventure mode literally 8 times back to back and always get Two-Worlds for world3... Well im about to give up on Wes because it has been a major waste of time unless someone has some serious god like tip I never knew about. So can someone please tell me the problem or how to get him because I just dont know anymore lol. "In the third chapter of Adventure Mode, if the map is A Cold Reception, The King of Winter, The Game is Afoot, or Archipelago, a structure will appear, which will have two chambers with a Maxwell Statue in each one, and a third one with Wes on the middle.When players break one of the statues, it will release Clockwork Bishops, Clockwork Knights and/or Clockwork Rooks. After breaking all the statues and defeating the Clockwork Monsters, go to the chamber where Wes is trapped. More Bishops, Knights and Rooks will spawn and the player will need to defeat them. After all monsters are cleared, Wes will pass out, fall on the ground, and disappear. Wes is now unlocked as a playable character. Wes cannot be set free if the player used a Console command to spawn him." Either he doesn't spawn on just the third chapter, or I got a fortunate bug. I get alot of those. JanH Posted July 3, 2014 Share Posted July 3, 2014 May I ask what save slot you are playing in? Have you tried starting a new game on a different save slot to see if you're able to unlock Wes in adventure mode using that file? Also, there are five possible worlds you could have as your third world for adventure mode. We had released a patch that had four of those worlds that should allow you to unlock Wes. Can you check if you have the latest patch installed for your game? You should be able to check it by going to your Don't Starve on your PS4's User Interface/XMB menu, press the "options" button on your controller. Choose "Update History" and you should see the version of the game you are playing. Does it say Ver. 1.01 or something else? I did make a new save in the second slot and tried a few times but not nearly as many. As for the other slots I never used them.
