I thought of placing the focus in your base and the staff near a touch stone, for an easy way to getting back to your base if you end up dying. It could also be used to teleport into the middle of a tooth trap pit if the hounds are about to attack or maybe to a second base if you hear a giant coming. What do you guys usually use it for? Because if you die in caves and can respawn in the over world, so should this work! JYM Posted May 31, 2014 Share Posted May 31, 2014 In my opinion, best use is to teleport giants to a big crowd of beefalo and let them kill it Dragon Fly and Bearger can easily kill the whole herd of buffalo with their AoE, even if those are 80 buffalo. Also deerclops, now that can freeze them kill a lot of them. I have the experience of that. It works fine, when I teleport Bearger, Deerclop, Goose/Moose, and spider queens here. It is just for an emergency. You must have had ALOT of Beefalo to kill Deerclops, he's usually able to kill everything in a couple hits with his aoe attack. Wouldn't be a good idea to try that strategy for anything other than G/Goose as every giant has an aoe attack besides the G/Goose. I did not set their mating season to be more or have them more, just default and deerclops was the first one they killed, then I tried Goose. Besides before Deerclops was going for beefalos first he decided to destroy my telelocator focus that I teleported him to, so yeah, deerclops might not actually be a good idea, but bearger and Goose definitely, not sure about dragonfly. Thought a really big crown I bet could even destroy Bigfoot if it was possible to kill (all tho all beefalo would probably die from that).
