Wilson took out a few lengths of rope, tied them together, and prepared a rope to carry them downwards further into the caves. Without saying a word, Wilson descended down further.

 

(Ought to be interesting either way.)

Entropy waited for Wilson, or more specifically, the glow of his lantern, to descend the rope before slipping down in the darkness.

[Quiet]

Marcy stood in front of the hole.

"How...how do I do it?"

(Now Alexander gets to help Marcy climb a rope.)

[Quiet]

Alexander come up to Marcy.  "Here...let me help."

 

He guides her hands to the rope.  "Just sort of slide down it.  I'm sure Wilson will help you down there."

Without Wilson's lantern to light the place up, darkness quickly overtook Alexander, Marcy, WX-78 and Hugos.

 

[WARNING: OPTICAL SENSORS OFFLINE.]

 

Charlie's angry hiss filled the air. She was approaching again.

 

[ANOMALY DETECTED.]

[Quiet]

(Thx, Wilson.)

 

(Also, since Alex can see her, wouldn't that mean she leaves them alone?)

(Under normal circumstances? Yes. BUT.......if I recall correctly, Rustlung did some stuff to Charlie....)

Alex panics.  "Quick!  Down the rope!  Down the rope!"

WX-78 stumbled about a bit in the dark, before managing to grab Hugos.

Marcy almost falls down, but she manages to slide down the rope.

Seeing that everyone is safe, Alex slides down the rope to join the others.

 

"Are you okay?"  He asks nervously.

WX-78 made his way down the rope, with Hugos, and the Tinker close behind.
