New creature suggestion: Antlion!

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, I just had a idea I wanted to share for a new animal/monster:

The antlion!

No, it's not an big insect, it's a mix of an anteater AND a lion!

I think that antlions are just prefect for DS, they're so absurd and weirdly cute!

But a normal Antlion is just too ordinary for DS, and I like the wordplay that you guys did with Dragonfly, so I just decided that it should be a mix of both.

I'm not sure about the stats (But they should be a little bit tougher than other animals), it was just a quick idea that came to my mind.

But what do you guys think about the concept?

Hmm, it sounds pretty neat actually. Maybe make him like a mini boss, just like the Warg. I think he should spawn in packs in the Desert area.

That would be a fun little addition for the deserts! Maybe it will eat spiders instead of ants x3

I'm glad you guys like it

Nooooooooooo... So much hate against Webber... x')

Just because he's a spider! D:<

Stop the rasicm against spiders!

What if instead of being an anteater+lion, the antlion was an anteater+scallion? Now that would be an unexpected combo but still fit with antlion as a portmanteau. Slightly less intimidating but much more amusing.

Ok, now think about a anteleon (anteater+chameleon). That would be irresistible : can you imagine a anteater face with chameleon eyes ?

Got to draw it !

Sounds funny, but I preffer the lion

I have no words.

Except it's not an anteater + lion, it's an ant + lion.

(That's an old art set of the antlion, but you get the idea...)

But that's different from my suggestion

Antlions, lionants and chamelions and everyone's more confusing than the other
