EldritchEgoist Posted April 1, 2014 Share Posted April 1, 2014 So, its been stated that my vanilla game saves will not have DLC content in it, because it did not generate a world with DLC content because none was available when I created the game.However, doesn't using the teleportato allow me to generate a new world? I'm just wondering if I can use the teleportato to roughly transfer all of my hard work from my vanilla world into a Reign of Giants world? Wouldn't it make sense to be able to add DLC content in that transition, since an entirely new world is being generated? oCrapaCreeper Posted April 1, 2014 Share Posted April 1, 2014 Worlds created by using the Teleportato retain the same settings the original world did, so no sadly. Perhaps in the future there could be an option to enable or disable the DLC like you have the option to change characters (although that would cause to complications with the DLC characters), but right now you have to create a new world altogether. I feel pretty well set with my endless honey and wood. Because it's significantly more complicated than 'add these things to worldgen', since you're basically changing the way the game works.
