simplex Posted March 20, 2014 Share Posted March 20, 2014 There are lots of things you can do to regain sanity besides picking flowers. In fact, I never pick any flowers (except for the occasional spacebar accident), not even in Reign of Giants, due to getting used to them regenerating very slowly (and even then, requiring nearby bees) unless I spent a lot of silk manually replanting them. You can sleep, gather honey and make taffys, craft some dapper clothing (or fetch yourself a Tam during winter), glue yourself to a pack of befriended pigs (easily done by having them chop trees so they don't run away from you) and, my favourite, eat cooked green mushrooms (cooked blue mushrooms will also do, but they're worse). Just craft a stockpile of straw sleeping bags.
