I'm doing a day 1000 attempt with the first character in the game, Wilson. Honestly, the beard completely annoys me, but I can get over it, I shave it every time it grows anyway, and I have a full chest full of beard hair. Anyway, here's what I was meant to show you, I was doing a maxwell run, but went directly back to Wilson, because, need to finish the attempt. But however, since I'm currently on day 559, I decided to go do something for a change instead of looking into my chests and adjusting the home base, I went into a cave, first time in a while (last time I went in a cave was like day 193) so, and yeah, I just done some stuff in there and got enough materials to last for another 400 days. I've already reached day 1000 with Wilson once, but... I've just been playing Maxwell so much lately, decided I'd go and play a Wilson day 1000 attempt, again.

I figure an exploit that has already been fixed is now part of the intended code.

That just shows they didn't fix it properly.

i was on day 770 back in the beta, i quit, no motivation. but im going to play again ! i had a 1.2 year break;/ wish me luck i will made a post every 100 days

If Day X isn't an interesting challenge any more, I wonder what is? The only thing left to do after doing something as long as possible, is doing something as fast as possible. Surviving with both hands tied behind your back doesn't have the same quantitative punch.

 

As for Day 1,000, sleeping often will be the difference between a ~70 hour commitment and a 133 hour one. Insomniacs beware.

 

Looking forward to the rest of the logs. If achieving the feat isn't a compelling read, at least the journey should be.
