Maybe you could go down the hole that is left by the Big Tentacle? 23rd Posted November 30, 2013 Share Posted November 30, 2013 In Legend of Grimrock there's a creature simply called Tentacles, which is basically a mass of tentacles rising from sewer grates. It's confirmed that every mass of tentacles in that game are the extensions of a single creature in the sewers underneath Grimrock that you never get to see, leaving you to imagine the terrifying monstrosity for yourself. I think the creature in Don't Starve should remain the same way, the ideas conjured up by the darkest recesses of our mind are ALWAYS more horrifying than any physical thing we can see. There's even a TV Tropes page for this, it's one of my favorites. I don't think the creature should have a body that we can see.
