It was coming from a construct that looked almost like an olympic torch, except it emitted dark fire. There was a red gem mounted into the center of the device, with was lighting up the entire encampment. She looked around. "Hello?.....Is anyone here?....." It looked like a large, bug-like creature. It got up on two legs, and showed off some teeth. Every muscle in Clarice's body froze up. (IF you're confused, the implications of nightmares in the ruins(i.e, shadow monsters that show up with any amount of sanity), I think insanity conjures them into reality...)
